GenealogicalWelcome to our Society!!
Our GSS monthly Society meetings will be held on the 2nd Saturday of the month at the Gulf Gate Library, 7112 Curtiss Ave., Sarasota. Parking is plentiful there both in front of the library and behind it. Meetings at the library are open to members and the public. For those members who prefer not to attend in person, we are also broadcasting our meetings via Zoom. Members wishing to view from home will be sent a Zoom link prior to the meeting date.
Our society has a number of Special Interest Groups (SIGs), many of which are open to the public, but our DNA and Mentorship SIGs are for GSS members only.

Membership Information Our Society operates on an annual schedule from July 1 to June 30 and dues are to be paid by July 1st. Annual Dues:
*Choices for those who wish to further support GSS Checks are payable to "The Genealogical Society of Sarasota, Inc." and may be brought to a meeting or mailed to the Genealogical Society of Sarasota, Attention: Membership, at P.O. Box 1917, Sarasota, FL 34230-1917. Members may also join by using our Join feature. Funds collected are used for the Society's activities, including guest speakers, book acquisitions and the purchase of genealogical resources and equipment. Each member receives the Society's newsletter published three times a year and has access to several pages restricted to the public. Download our Membership Application |
