Membership Information

Our Society operates on an annual schedule from July 1 to June 30 and dues are to be paid by July 1st.

Annual Dues:

$25.00  Individual Membership

$40.00  Family Membership (2 or more people)

$ 5.00  Student Membership

$50.00  Sustaining Membership* (2 or more people in the same family)

$60.00  Supporting Membership* (2 or more people in the same family)

          *Choices for those who wish to further support GSS

Checks are payable to "The Genealogical Society of Sarasota, Inc." and may be brought to a meeting or mailed to the Genealogical Society of Sarasota, Attention: Membership, at P.O. Box 1917, Sarasota, FL 34230-1917.  Members may also join by using our Join feature.

Funds collected are used for the Society's activities, including guest speakers, book acquisitions and the purchase of genealogical resources and equipment.  

Each member receives the Society's newsletter published three times a year and has access to several pages restricted to the public.
